Torie Jackson

Dr. Torie Jackson is president of WVU Parkersburg. A first-generation college student, she is a proud graduate of the institution, having earned an associate degree in journalism there. She continued her education at West Virginia University, where she received a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree in Organizational Communication, and a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration.

In addition, Dr. Jackson holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership from Salem International University. Her most recent credential is a Certificate of Current Affairs Fundraising in Crisis Leadership from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
