Alex Weld

Alex Weld, Project Outreach Specialist at FirstEnergy, leads engagement efforts for electric transmission and generation projects that strengthen infrastructure and support economic growth. She brings extensive experience in external affairs, workforce development, and coalition building across industry, government, and community stakeholders.

Previously, Alex led statewide workforce and talent initiatives as Executive Director of Generation West Virginia and supported community revitalization efforts with Wheeling Heritage. She lives in Wellsburg, West Virginia, where she serves in multiple community leadership roles.
