James Lanham

James Lanham is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 27 years of experience, including service as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service and the Social Security Administration’s Office of Inspector General. He is currently an instructor and researcher at Marshall University’s Institute for Cyber Security, where he is also pursuing a doctorate in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.

James brings deep expertise in digital forensics, OSINT, and web-based investigations. He has also led a multi-agency unit focused on identifying and dismantling complex fraud schemes.
