
Jennifer Rohrig

Jennifer Rohrig is the regional manager of business retention and expansion for the WV Department of Economic Development in the Northern Panhandle. She is tasked with helping industry and manufacturers access state, regional, and local resources and opportunities to ensure companies stay and grow in West Virginia. Rohrig graduated from Bethany College with a bachelor’s degree in communication and from American University with a master’s degree in strategic communication. She was recently named as an emerging leader in The Intelligencer's 2023 edition of "Future of Progress," which highlights "leaders 45 and under who have taken up the mantle of improving the area and pushing it toward a brighter tomorrow."
She is passionate about serving her community and is a past president of the Junior League of Wheeling; a member of the Oglebay Institute Museums Committee; a member of the Moundsville Rotary; a member of Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD); a board member of the Marshall County Education Foundation, Inc.; and a board member of Youth Services System. Prior to the WV Department of Economic Development, Rohrig worked as a partnership specialist for the 2020 Census and a pharmaceutical sales representative.
